2005 - Iimpact Sar-La Resource Centre, Gurgaon

Iimpact was an ambitious plan to educate girls in rural India undertaken by few conscientious alumni of IIM Ahmedabad. SET agreed to kickstart this initiative by becoming their first institutional donor. Iimpact started out very humbly in 2006 in Gurgaon and by 2013 – 14 has reached out to 38000 girls in rural areas in 10 states of India. Having gained a firm footing and support from multiple donors, SET is happy to see it take off.

Since 2012, it is supporting the Learning Resource Centre that collates and develops training and pedagogical material in the field of education to streamline it for delivery to its Learning Centres. The Resource Centre is also putting together an innovative ‘Multi – Level - Multi Grade Learning Methodology’, Train the Trainer manuals and training and learning aids and material which have all been developed based on needs analysis and assessment of ground realities. The SIRC works in a sensitive way accommodating needs at the ground level and responding to those.
